CONCENSUS Sets the Standard at Sport Horse Nationals

With Shilo at the lead and in the irons, CONCENSUS was shown in four classes at the 2004 Sport Horse Nationals in California, coming home with four titles: RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION SPORT HORSE STALLION, RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION SPORT HORSE STALLION AOTH, RESERVE NATIONAL SPORT HORSE CHAMPION SHOW HACK, and NATIONAL CHAMPION SPORT HORSE SHOW HACK AOTR. These freshly minted titles are just the latest in already illustrious career of US National wins: US NATIONAL CHAMPION FUTURITY COLT; US RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION STALLION; US NATIONAL CHAMPION LADIES SIDESADDLE ENGLISH; US NATIONAL TOP TEN ENGLISH PLEASURE JUNIOR HORSE; US NATIONAL TOP TEN COUNTRY ENGLISH PLEASURE AOTR; US NATIONAL TOP TEN ENGLISH SHOW HACK AOTR; and US NATIONAL TOP TEN STALLION (twice). That makes CONCENSUS a two-time National performance champion, a National halter champion, a three-time National Reserve halter champion, a National Reserve performance champion, a three-time National Top Ten performance champion and a two-time National Top Ten halter champion. Of his 12 National titles, eight of those have been earned with Shilo, including all the Sport Horse wins, all the National performance wins except the Junior English and even one of the Top Ten Stallion wins! An extraordinary story of exceptional teamwork between an amateur and her capably versatile stallion. With these most recent accomplishments, CONCENSUS has become the only Arabian in the breed to have earned National performance and halter championships at both Sport Horse and US Nationals. Bred by Bill & Meredith Bishop, CONCENSUS is 13 years old this year and exclusively trained and shown by Shilo. At the annual Pride of Poland Auction on August 15th, three Monogramm daughters set a new standard in the international marketplace for the elite Arabian Mare. All fetching six figures in a record breaking public auction, each of these acclaimed beauties were widely desired by many of the world's leading Arabian breeders. For the second successive year, a MONOGRAMM son is the recipient of the prestigious Mercedes Diamond Cup Championship. An invitation only event featuring the most elite European champions, the competition is meant to showcase the natural beauty, intelligence and athleticism of the Arabian horse. Last year's recipient was World  Champion EKSTERN - the recently crowned champion for 2004 is the always dynamic PREMIER.
